Adam Webster Column: Cageless Thinking Innovation & Creativity in Education

Adam Webster is a teacher of English at an independent school in Surrey, England. Over the past 6 years he has been developing a variety of creative thinking techniques to help his students become better, more innovative and creative learners.

This has lead to him designing the ‘Cageless Thinking’ concept, which is based around the idea of eight different animals which represent methods of either generating or developing ideas. The 9th animal, the Polar Bear is symbolic of the complete cageless thinker.

Beyond the classroom Adam is also on the English Advisory Panel for the Times Educational Supplement, which he also writes regular columns for.
