Mark Changizi

Mark Changizi is a theoretical neurobiologist, and has struggled with creativity both as a scientist trying to remain creative, and as a scientist trying to understand creativity. His research discoveries -- ahem, creative works -- are discussed in books like THE VISION REVOLUTION and his newest book, HARNESSED: How Language and Music Mimicked Nature and Transformed Ape to Man. His newest creative work is a novel called HUMAN, about the far-off humanistic future of humans, to appear in the near future. And an upcoming book is tentatively called ALOOF: How Not Giving a Damn Maximizes Your Creativity, and is where he put together his first-person, scientifically-motivated-but-tested-mostly-only-on-himself advice he's been giving to students for how to get big ideas.
