Sylvie Leotin is founder and CEO of Tech Atelier, a full-service creative and strategy agency, with a unique art-based approach to its practice. Noted for her multidisciplinary thinking, she regularly speaks at industry events, and writes for the Huffington Post about connecting the dots between art, science and technology. Sylvie is a dancer, scientist, and entrepreneur, with a passion for all things creative. A former professional ballerina and robotics researcher, she eventually found a happy middle-ground in entrepreneurial ventures. She came to the realization that technology innovation and artistic pursuits share many commonalities. A 20-year Silicon Valley veteran, Sylvie started her career at Oracle Corporation and Sun Microsystems, in various engineering, product management and marketing roles. Prior to founding Tech Atelier, she led marketing and communications for a number of innovative startup companies, with a particular hallmark in helping businesses build a position within lighthouse customers and profitable markets. Sylvie has been published/featured in Huffington Post, Venture Beat, Vator News, BFM Business, and has been a guest speaker at Stanford University and numerous industry events. She is an active contributor to non-profit arts organizations. Sylvie holds a Masters degree in management science (Stanford University), a Masters degree in computer science (ENSIIE/France), and was a visiting scholar at Stanford AI Laboratory. Prior to catching the science bug, Sylvie was an award-winning professional ballerina. She earned a gold medal in ballet from France National Conservatory, and double degrees in dance and music.
